Senior Associate – Institutional NFR, Corporate Finance

About the role

ANZ’s Institutional bank is looking for a Senior Associate to support Non‑Financial Risk (NFR) management across its Corporate Finance portfolio. Working under senior NFR colleagues, you will partner with product, sales, operations, technology, legal, compliance and control teams to ensure safe, sustainable and customer‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior NFR colleagues in providing practical risk advice and challenge for Corporate Finance products and initiatives.
• Prepare analysis on risk profiles, control effectiveness, customer outcomes and risk implications.
• Translate operational and technology risk information into clear insights, reports and recommendations for governance forums.
• Identify, assess, monitor and report material non‑financial risks including operational, compliance, technology, cyber, data, fraud, third‑party, conduct, financial crime and resilience risks.
• Support control‑uplift initiatives, product and process change projects, and governance and regulatory readiness activities.
• Escalate issues, incidents and emerging risks through appropriate channels.

Required profile

• Experience working in non‑financial risk within corporate finance or related financial services.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders such as business, product, sales, implementation, operations, technology, legal and compliance.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to produce clear risk insights and recommendations.
