Senior Associate – AI & Fabric Analytics Engineer

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate who will design, develop, and operationalise AI‑driven analytics solutions on Microsoft Fabric. You will work within the Advisory practice to turn raw data into actionable insights, supporting clients across regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI‑assisted automation workflows and analytics pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines).
• Design and implement Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and DAX calculations.
• Perform data preparation, shaping, cleansing, categorisation, and translation to ensure high‑quality inputs.
• Administer Fabric workspaces, manage capacity, and enforce version control, CI/CD, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate progress to stakeholders, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Optimise performance, implement row‑level security, and maintain reusable AI pipelines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience (typically 5+ years) in analytics engineering or intelligent automation.
• Proven track record delivering solutions for regulated sectors.
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to document processes and drive adoption of AI‑enabled workflows.

Required skills

• Power BI, DAX, Power Query

• Row‑Level Security (RLS)
• Claude (AI model) or similar generative AI tools
• CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git)
