Senior Analyst II - Financial Crime (Delhi NCR)

About the role

A Senior Analyst II works directly with bank and non-bank financial institution clients to advise them on fighting financial crime and mitigating its risks. The role detects and investigates unusual financial activity by performing quality control on Associate Analysts' work, monitoring account activity, and reviewing client files for Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. It also involves researching data, writing summaries of findings and recommendations, and may include assisting the manager in supervising a team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a first line of leadership to resolve analyst issues and improve internal and client efficiency
• Perform quality control work
• Assist with advanced tasks such as client communication, assessing analyst performance, analysing production data and creating client-specific aids and training
• Independently support analysts with workflow and administrative tasks
• Comply with federal and state laws and regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering and KYC requirements, and with company policies and client requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 3-4 years of relevant AML/BSA experience
• Strong oral communication skills and the ability to write clear narrative summaries of recommendations and conclusions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Preferred: professional certification, Master's degree, strong knowledge of banking regulations, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial approach.
