Senior Financial Crime Compliance Manager

About the role

AML RightSource is looking for a Senior Manager in its Financial Crime Client Delivery Services group. The role leads and supervises Managers and Analysts on client projects, overseeing day-to-day operations of AML and sanctions engagements while coaching and mentoring the team. It involves direct client contact, managing client relationships and contributing to the growth of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations on AML/financial crime engagements, manage and escalate risks according to the terms of service and the Statement of Work (SOW).
• Establish quality standards and work with Managers and Team Leads to set up a quality control process that meets client requirements.
• Prepare reports, manage and escalate risks and issues using AML/financial crime expertise.
• Assist the Director in designing and implementing KPI/KRI reports and in preparing materials for client business and executive meetings.
• Identify and coordinate training needs, and ensure the engagement team submits time in NetSuite correctly and on time.
• Organize periodic touch points with client stakeholders and take part in internal strategic initiatives across the Managed Services practice.
• Mentor and coach engagement teams at all levels.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 15-18 years or more of AML/financial crimes experience, including regulatory requirements such as transaction monitoring, AML policies and procedures, KYC, EDD and AML independent testing.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of more than 50 people, including managers.
• Ability to lead projects, manage scope, budget and timelines, and resolve risks while managing client expectations.
• Preferred: professional certification, Master's degree, strong knowledge of banking regulations, fraud and sanctions experience, payments/fintech experience, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
