SAP IS-U ABAP Developer (6-Month Contract)

About the role

PWORLD is hiring two SAP IS-U ABAP developers for a 6-month remote contract based in India, with a budget of 1.6-1.8 LPM (about 1.2-2.0 million rupees). Candidates are paid through TalentXO's payroll and must be able to join immediately, ideally within about a week. The role covers energy and utilities (SAP IS-U) and S/4HANA, and is open to both implementation and AMS projects.

Key responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of SAP HANA concepts, data modelling, code performance rules and guidelines to client engagements
• Troubleshoot issues, resolve user problems and perform system enhancements
• Analyse existing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Take part in end-user training, system testing and quality assurance
• Mentor junior team members

Required profile

• 8+ years as an SAP ABAP consultant, including 3+ years in the Energy/Utilities (SAP IS-U) domain
• Good understanding of the Meter to Cash flow
• RICEF development experience (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms)
• At least 2 full lifecycle implementations, flexible across Implementation and AMS projects
• Hands-on BTP/RAP experience
• Support experience, process analysis and willingness to cross-train, upskill and mentor
• Comfortable with a 6-month contract and immediate joining
