Sales Officer - Construction and Infrastructure

About the role

Monalisa Group of Services is hiring a Sales Officer for its Sales and Business Development department, based in Mumbai and reporting to the Sales Manager. The role focuses on setting and achieving sales targets, developing new markets and territories, and selling products in the construction chemicals segment for contracting and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers and create sales goals and strategies for each product and territory.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly sales targets.
• Plan and organize the sales call schedule and maintain a Sales MIS.
• Develop and nurture key accounts and lead product presentations and demonstrations.
• Ensure timely credit control and recovery of outstanding dues, and resolve customer complaints on sales and service.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge and present data as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in construction chemicals for the contracting and infrastructure segment; total experience up to 5 years.
• Minimum graduate education.
• Willingness to travel across India and to travel locally, which requires a two-wheeler with valid documents.
• Fully vaccinated.

Required skills

• Strong payment recovery skills and critical thinking to understand customer needs and solve problems.
• Excellent client-interfacing skills and computer literacy, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Desired: ability to lead a team, perform under pressure, be performance-driven and self-motivated.

What we offer

• Salary of Rs. 3,00,000 to Rs. 4,00,000 per annum.
