Sales Engineer – South India (Power Distribution)

About the role

Ensto, an international technology company founded in 1958 that provides low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical solutions for electricity distribution networks, is hiring a junior-level Sales Engineer for its South India region. The role covers Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with a work-from-home setup and extensive regional travel. The location is listed as Bangalore, with Kerala preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional sales growth for LV/MV electricity distribution solutions.
• Follow up on leads, customer requirements, tenders, quotations and project opportunities.
• Visit and coordinate with DISCOMs, utilities, EPCs, contractors, consultants and internal teams.
• Assist in basic technical discussions, product positioning, documentation and order follow-up.
• Maintain customer data, visit reports, sales pipeline, forecasts and updates in CRM, SAP, IFS, MS 365 or similar tools.
• Track market trends, competitor activity and customer needs to support sales planning.

Required profile

• B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-4+ years of experience in electrical sales, power distribution, utility, EPC or infrastructure business.
• Basic knowledge of LV/MV electrical distribution products and applications.
• Exposure to tendering, utility projects, EPC projects or turnkey business is preferred.
• Good communication, follow-up, presentation and customer coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across South India.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CRM, SAP, IFS, Microsoft 365 or similar tools is an advantage.
