Restaurant General Manager

About the role

Maiz Mexican Kitchen is seeking a performance‑driven Restaurant General Manager to lead one of its high‑volume QSR locations in Bangalore. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitable growth in a fast‑growing brand.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, food safety standards, and guest service benchmarks.
• Lead, coach, and develop shift managers and restaurant staff to build a high‑performance culture.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective labour, inventory, and food‑cost management.
• Maintain superior guest experience by handling concerns promptly and improving satisfaction scores.
• Ensure compliance with all hygiene, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Monitor inventory, wastage, and ordering processes to optimise stock levels.
• Track and analyse KPIs such as sales, labour cost, food cost, and productivity.

Required profile

• Graduate (preferred) with 5–7 years of QSR experience.
• At least 2–3 years in a Restaurant General Manager or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven track record in high‑volume QSR brands such as KFC, Burger King, McDonald’s or Domino’s.
• Based in Bangalore.

Required skills

• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Deep understanding of QSR operations, SOPs, and food‑safety compliance.
• Experience with inventory control, labour scheduling, and cost‑management.
