Resident Construction Manager – City Gas Distribution Projects

About the role

Meenaar Global Consultants LLP is seeking a seasoned Resident Construction Manager to lead large-scale City Gas Distribution (CGD) projects across India. The role involves overseeing multi-site construction activities, ensuring safe and high-quality execution of steel, MDPE and GI pipeline works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day construction activities across multiple CGD locations.
• Ensure timely, safe, and high-quality execution of steel, MDPE, and GI pipeline works.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, vendors, and client representatives.
• Monitor project schedules, track milestones, and drive performance improvements.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce strict quality-control measures.
• Maintain compliance with PNGRB guidelines, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Manage manpower, resources, and site logistics efficiently.
• Prepare and present progress reports, cost tracking, and risk assessments to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 12+ years experience in CGD projects involving steel, MDPE, and GI pipelines.
• At least 3+ years in a leadership role such as Resident Construction Manager or Project Manager.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, team-management, and stakeholder-coordination abilities.
• Willingness to travel across India as project requirements dictate.
