Regional FP&A Financial Analyst (CP&O)

About the role

The Regional FP&A Financial Analyst will support the Region Finance Director for the Middle East Africa region, acting as the CFO Assistant Controller. The role provides financial planning, performance management, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analytical support to senior business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis for specific functions or business units and provide analytics to support key initiatives.
• Provide input for monthly expense and capital reviews, analyze variances, and deliver operational insights.
• Interpret and prepare financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow statements.
• Support month‑end close activities, post manual journal entries, handle intercompany postings, and compile the financial reporting pack.
• Extract data from ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA), consolidate P&L and balance‑sheet reports, and submit them to the Regional Finance Director.
• Own and drive performance management across the full P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow, monitoring KPIs such as orders, revenue, gross margin, EBIT, SG&A, working capital, capex, headcount, and project/product margins.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards, corporate policies, and the integrity of internal and external reporting.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Ability to work closely with senior business leaders and provide actionable financial insights.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate finance processes and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in interpreting financial statements and managing month‑end close activities.
