Rebar Detailer – On-site (Coimbatore)

About the role

The Rebar Detailer will work on‑site in Coimbatore, preparing detailed reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending schedules for construction projects. You will translate structural and architectural plans into accurate reinforcement models, ensuring compliance with codes and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret structural and architectural drawings to develop reinforcement layouts.
• Create detailed rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) using CAD/rebar detailing software.
• Verify dimensions, quantities and code compliance for each drawing.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers and fabricators to resolve design discrepancies.
• Maintain organized documentation and update drawings as project requirements evolve.
• Adhere to internal quality, safety and delivery standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete design codes and construction practices.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills for drawing conflicts.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
