Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Aahash Construction is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage quantity and cost aspects of residential, commercial and industrial projects in South Tamil Nadu. The role involves preparing accurate bills of quantities, analysing rates, and supporting cost control from tender stage through project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take‑offs and estimates from architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Conduct tender rate analysis for civil, structural, finishing and other construction works.
• Verify site quantities, reconcile BOQ with actual execution and prepare variation statements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors on quantity and commercial matters.
• Maintain records of measurements, rates, bills and support cost control and budget tracking.

Required profile

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction estimation, rate analysis and local labour/material rates.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with estimation or quantity surveying software (advantageous).
