Quality Team Member – Steel Files

About the role

This position is responsible for ensuring that every steel‑file product meets the highest quality standards. The role drives continuous improvement, manages customer complaints, and supports the plant’s quality culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to achieve defect‑free supplies.
• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Handle customer complaints, lead corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure rapid closure.
• Review monthly dispatch plans and align QA activities, inspections, PDI, and third‑party audits.
• Conduct supplier audits for raw materials, packaging, and ancillary items.
• Maintain control of outgoing quality, reduce rejections and scrap, and improve overall yield.
• Lead internal audits, maintain certifications, and update specifications in the company server.
• Train new joiners, conduct process and product audits, and use statistical tools for root‑cause analysis.
• Support sales and new product development teams by providing required samples.
• Ensure inspection lab equipment is calibrated on time and drive cost‑effective quality improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with QMS procedures, audits, and CAPA processes.
• Ability to manage customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions.
• Proven track record of reducing defects, scrap, and improving yield.
• Experience training new employees and conducting internal audits.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to apply statistical tools for problem solving.
