Estimation Engineer

About the role

The Electrical Estimation & Design Engineer will prepare cost estimates, quotations and design electrical control panels for projects in Vapi/Surat. The role involves collaborating with procurement, production and project teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical control panels and projects.
• Design and develop HT/LT electrical panels according to project requirements.
• Select and size components such as switchgear, relays, transformers, fuses, contactors and MCCBs.
• Break down projects into components and estimate material, labour, equipment, overhead and other costs.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with procurement, production and project teams to support execution.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in electrical estimation or design.
• Diploma or B.E. in Electrical Engineering.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HT/LT electrical panels and industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to select and size electrical components.
• Proficiency with electrical estimation and design software (e.g., InstaQuote).
• Experience using AutoCAD 2D for electrical drawings.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
