Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Resident QA Lead is the single brand‑side point of accountability for quality oversight at the Lotus 3P site. Reporting to AGM‑Quality, the role manages the relationship with the Contract Manufacturer (CM), runs daily quality huddles, and chairs weekly governance reviews to ensure compliance with agreed quality protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily quality huddles with CM Production In‑Charge and CM QA Head, documenting outcomes in the digital system.
• Chair weekly Joint Quality Governance Review with the CM Plant Head and share minutes with AGM‑Quality within 24 hours.
• Maintain the Quality Agreement addendum tracker and flag any drift between agreed protocols and observed practice.
• Plan and coordinate Floating CCP Auditor coverage against the CM batch schedule, focusing on dispensing, blending, filling, line clearance, and primary pack.
• Review end‑of‑shift digital reports from Floating CCP Auditors and consolidate daily summaries for AGM‑Quality.
• Conduct unannounced night‑shift walks to verify auditor coverage and CM behaviour outside regular hours.
• Witness high‑risk batch events such as new SKU tech‑transfer runs, post‑CAPA verification batches, and batches after raw‑material vendor changes.
• Verify CAPA closure evidence against original deviations and document verification outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in cosmetics or skincare.
• Strong understanding of GMP, CAPA processes, and batch record management.
• Ability to coordinate with external contract manufacturers and manage governance documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify structural quality issues.
