Electrician – Packaging Machinery

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrician to join our production team in Haridwar. The role focuses on installing, testing, and maintaining control and power electrical systems for packaging machinery, ensuring smooth and safe operation on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform control and power wiring for packaging machines according to CAD electrical diagrams.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to guarantee correct installation and connections.
• Install, test, and maintain components such as relays, contactors, sensors, switches, and drives.
• Carry out power calculations to verify proper load handling and safe operation.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, control panels, and wiring systems.
• Ensure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and neatness in all wiring work.
• Support machine installation, trials, and ongoing production reliability.
• Maintain electrical safety standards and follow all shop‑floor safety procedures.
• Coordinate with Mechanical and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless workflow.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting CAD electrical diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of control and power wiring practices.
• Ability to perform accurate power calculations and load assessments.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical faults in machinery and control panels.
• Commitment to high quality workmanship and safety compliance.
