Purchase & Stores Executive

About the role

The Purchase & Stores Executive supports the Purchase and Store Manager in a resort environment, ensuring timely procurement, inventory control, and accurate reporting for smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Purchase and Store Manager with management reports and ensure their timely availability.
• Oversee daily operations of the Purchase Department in an orderly manner.
• Process local purchases for operational departments, identifying requirements for goods, materials, and services.
• Research and evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, and award supply contracts.
• Prepare and review order quantities, write bid requests, and manage contracts.
• Coordinate deliveries with vendors, considering storage capacities.
• Conduct product testing, quality control, and maintain updated purchase records.
• Manage procurement budgets, payments, and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Enter order details into internal databases and prepare cost analysis reports.
• Monitor stock levels, place re‑orders as needed, and coordinate with warehouse staff for proper storage.
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions to stay informed about industry trends.

Required profile

• Adherence to immaculate grooming standards as per resort policy.
• Maintain professional confidentiality regarding guests and company information.
• Strong product knowledge of resort facilities, rooms, restaurant hours, and special events.
• Familiarity with the departmental BRISOP (Brand Rosetta Integrated Standard Operating Protocols).
• Professional conduct and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors.
