Purchase Officer – Apparel & Clothing (30K Salary)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Purchase Officer to manage sourcing, procurement, and vendor relationships for apparel and related trims. The role ensures timely delivery of high‑quality materials while optimizing costs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for garments and trims.
• Maintain and update the vendor database based on price, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to maximize ROI.
• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders with accurate specifications.
• Monitor inbound shipments daily and resolve issues such as damages or shortages.
• Control inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, coordinating with warehouse staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Textile Technology, or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of purchasing experience in the garment industry.
• Strong understanding of fabric types, garment construction, and global textile market trends.
