Production Supervisor - Automotive Brake Parts

About the role

Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd, a 100% Bosch-owned company in Kurli, designs and develops hydraulic brake system parts such as boosters, tandem master cylinders and proportioning valves. It is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a team of operators and trainees, run shifts and drive production to meet customer order targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of operators and trainees to deliver KPIs and customer orders in the assigned territory
• Plan shifts, follow control plans, SOPs and work instructions, coordinate material arrival and meet production quantities
• Deploy manpower, provide on-the-job training, maintain skill matrices and training records
• Run line start-ups and changeovers, manage 4M changes, track OEE, rejections and defects, and implement BPS concepts
• Carry out daily rejection analysis with the MFQ, follow up corrective and preventive actions, and close OPLs
• Keep 5S, health, safety and quality compliant, troubleshoot machines and standardise work
• Participate in Kaizens, improve safety, quality and productivity, and resolve operator grievances

Required profile

• Graduate Engineer (Automobile, Production or Mechanical)
• 2 to 6 years of experience as a production supervisor
• Machining process know-how and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication, presentation skills (PPT, Excel) and customer focus
