Senior Manager / Project Group Leader - Sensor Projects (Expat Only)

About the role

Bosch is looking for an expatriate Senior Manager / Manager for its Sensor Projects group in Bidadi, Karnataka, India. The role leads manufacturing projects and mentors sub-project leaders, while handling administrative tasks such as budget approvals, scope and resource management. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects and mentor sub-project leaders.
• Handle administrative tasks such as budget approvals, scope management and resource management.
• Review project progress systematically and prepare management summaries.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and drive a culture of risk management and mitigation across projects.
• Ensure systematic change management, documentation and reporting.
• Steer innovation management processes to generate ideas and solve product and customer concerns.
• Anticipate risks and escalate them on time to the right stakeholders.
• Coordinate and plan topics for IPN collaboration and lead plant agreements.
• Drive project management processes in line with regulations and compliance, within budget and timeline.
• Develop team competency in functional areas based on present and future business trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, IE, automotive or electronics).
• Mandatory hands-on experience leading a medium to high category manufacturing project as project leader.
• 6-8 years of project management experience in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• 2-3 years of experience as a manufacturing engineer or process planner.
• Expat only.
