Production Manager – Build Crew for Skate Ramp Manufacturer

About the role

Keen Ramps is seeking an experienced carpenter and production leader to manage the build crew that designs and manufactures wooden skate ramps. You will supervise a small team, plan daily shop work, and ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery of ramps for skaters and events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee shipping, receiving, packing, order processing, routing, inventory and production auditing.
• Train, assign, direct, and evaluate 2‑3 production workers.
• Plan and adjust workflow, equipment layout, and tool purchases to meet production goals.
• Monitor schedule adherence, safety standards, and crew performance.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing and onboarding new build‑crew members.
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiency measures.

Required profile

• 10+ years in construction or trades work.
• 2‑5 years managing carpentry or manufacturing teams.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean record.
• High school diploma or GED; college coursework a plus.
• Metal or welding experience and bilingual ability are advantages.
