About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the ESG and Sustainability portfolio within the Benchmark Gensuite SaaS platform. The role will translate strategy, market trends and regulatory requirements into scalable product capabilities, working closely with engineering, design and sustainability experts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle – discovery, roadmap planning, development, release and continuous improvement.
• Translate ESG frameworks (GRI, ISSB, CSRD/ESRS, SASB, TCFD, CDP, BRSR) into product specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Engage customers and internal stakeholders to capture sustainability challenges and convert insights into scalable features.
• Lead cross‑functional delivery, including sprint planning, backlog refinement and risk mitigation across engineering, design and implementation teams.
• Ensure product quality and release readiness through functionality reviews, QA, data lineage validation and documentation.
• Identify and incorporate AI‑enabled, configurable solutions to simplify data collection, analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field; postgraduate qualifications in sustainability or product management are a plus.
• 3–5 years of product management or product ownership experience in an enterprise SaaS environment, with a focus on sustainability reporting or ESG data management.
• Proven ability to lead complex product initiatives from definition through release, manage backlogs, write user stories and work in Agile teams.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with attention to data accuracy and product quality.
