Principal Architect – Platform Innovation Digital Health

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Architect to lead the design, delivery, and scaling of advanced digital capabilities for our health‑technology products. You will work within a cross‑functional innovation POD, turning business opportunities into secure, compliant, and high‑impact solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a POD of engineers, data scientists, product managers and QA, setting technical direction for platform initiatives.
• Define high‑impact use cases aligned with product strategy and measurable business outcomes.
• Drive proof‑of‑concept experiments to production‑grade, operationally ready solutions.
• Own end‑to‑end solution architecture, including data flows, APIs, integration patterns and cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, maintainability and observability of all solutions.
• Partner with security, platform and infrastructure teams to meet enterprise standards.
• Design and integrate intelligent capabilities such as modern retrieval, advanced data processing and large‑model techniques.
• Maintain a product‑value mindset, communicate with senior leaders and embed risk, security, privacy and regulatory compliance by design.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solution or systems architecture within complex environments.
• Strong background with cloud‑native platforms, APIs and microservices.
• Hands‑on exposure to modern intelligent system patterns (retrieval techniques, embeddings, prompt‑driven workflows).
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams or PODs.
• Excellent communication skills; experience in regulated environments is a plus.
