Principal Account Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Account Manager to lead the adoption of AWS services within large banking institutions across India. You will act as a strategic partner to C‑level executives, driving long‑term business opportunities and positioning AWS as the preferred cloud platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strategic relationships with senior business and IT leaders at major banks.
• Collaborate with the Channels team to ensure AWS is the partner’s preferred cloud provider across all service lines.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and business reports, and present regular business reviews to senior management.
• Create compelling value propositions around AWS services and articulate technical benefits.
• Drive market penetration and adoption of AWS infrastructure solutions within the financial services sector.

Required profile

• Proven business development or sales experience engaging C‑level stakeholders in large enterprises.
• Self‑starter with the ability to design and execute coverage plans and business objectives.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
