Plumbing Manager – Water & Sewage Treatment Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead the plumbing infrastructure and utility operations at Della Resorts & Adventure in Lonavala. The role focuses on ensuring reliable water supply, efficient sewage treatment, and compliance with environmental and safety standards within a large hospitality facility.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all plumbing systems, including pipelines, pumps, valves, water tanks, fixtures and drainage across the resort.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor utility consumption and optimise water usage.
• Operate and maintain the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), ensuring treated water meets statutory and environmental norms.
• Maintain operational logs, test reports and coordinate with pollution control authorities for compliance.
• Lead a team of technicians, operators and contractors, allocate tasks, and provide training on SOPs and safety procedures.
• Respond to breakdowns, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate major repairs or upgrades with engineering.
• Ensure safety standards, manage inventory of materials and chemicals, and support audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plumbing, Civil or related field.
• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in plumbing maintenance and utility operations, including WTP and STP management.
• Prior experience in hospitality, resorts or large commercial facilities is preferred.
