Piping Design Engineer – Aviation & Medical Gas

About the role

We are seeking a Piping Design Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on aviation fuel hydrant, LPG, PNG, compressed air and medical gas systems. The role involves delivering detailed design packages for airport and hospital projects and ensuring integration with other building services.

Key responsibilities

• Design aviation fuel hydrant systems and perform surge analysis.
• Develop piping layouts, P&ID, schematics and isometric drawings for LPG, PNG, compressed air and medical gas networks.
• Prepare design basis reports, bills of material and piping calculations.
• Coordinate requirements with electrical, ELV, public health, HVAC and fire protection disciplines.
• Provide inputs to drafting and modelling teams, review and release piping drawings.
• Prepare technical data sheets, evaluate vendor sub‑contractor documents and review shop and as‑built drawings.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in piping design for gas, fuel, steam, water or medical gas systems.
• Previous work on airport or hospital projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of design standards and ability to produce accurate calculations.
