Pharmacy In-charge Doctor (BAMS)

About the role

The Hospital is seeking a qualified Pharmacy In‑charge Doctor to oversee pharmacy operations on a 24/7 basis. The role requires a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and a commitment to delivering high‑quality patient care throughout the year.

Key responsibilities

• Provide continuous patient care and medication counseling 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• Manage the inventory of medicines, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper storage.
• Maintain accurate records and generate reports for senior medical leadership.
• Report directly to the Dean, Principal, Medical Director, or Deputy Medical Superintendent.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
• Strong understanding of Ayurvedic pharmacology and hospital pharmacy workflows.
