Pharma Production Officer (Tablet Department)

About the role

The Pharma Production Officer will oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing activities in the Tablet (FBE) department, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining strict GMP compliance. This role supports senior officers and collaborates closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Sign and maintain cGMP documentation such as equipment logs, temperature/humidity records, cleaning logs, and batch manufacturing records.
• Manage overall production planning, execution, and daily reporting for the Tablet department.
• Coordinate validation, qualification, and calibration activities for equipment and processes.
• Assist in procurement, indenting, and change‑part management for the department.
• Prepare and execute destruction notes, quarantine records, and BMR/SOP/Protocol documents for new products or machinery.
• Train and mentor staff on GMP practices, resource optimization, and standard operating procedures.
• Act as the responsible officer in the absence of the primary officer and liaise with related departments to ensure schedule adherence.

Required profile

• B.Pharm degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Authorized to sign cGMP documents.
• Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and documentation practices.

Required skills
