Trainee Officer – Tablet Manufacturing (G12C)

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for a Trainee Officer to support the Tablet (FBE) department. The role involves day‑to‑day production management, ensuring GMP compliance, and coordinating with quality and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize and sign cGMP documents such as equipment logs, temperature & humidity records, cleaning records, calibration certificates, and batch manufacturing records.
• Oversee daily production activities of the tablet department to meet quantity, quality, and regulatory targets.
• Assist senior officers in manufacturing operations and maintain/up‑date GMP procedures.
• Coordinate validation, qualification and calibration activities with Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
• Train staff on GMP practices and standardize production processes.
• Optimize resources (people, material, machines) and prepare daily activity reports.
• Manage procurement, indents, and destruction notes for materials and equipment.
• Act as the Officer in the incumbent’s absence and liaise with Warehouse, MIS, and Engineering for material supply and preventive maintenance.

Required profile

• Authorized to sign cGMP documents and maintain GMP documentation.
• Experience or strong understanding of tablet manufacturing processes.
• Ability to coordinate with QA, QC, engineering and other support functions.
• Leadership capability to train and guide production staff.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.
