Operations Associate

About the role

Alike is looking for a detail‑oriented Operations Associate to support the day‑to‑day coordination of travel bookings. You will work closely with the Tele Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure guests enjoy seamless, high‑quality travel experiences from booking to trip completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end booking of accommodations, transportation, tours and other travel services based on finalized itineraries.
• Confirm and communicate travel arrangements to guests promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Tele Sales, Customer Service, Finance) to align bookings, payments and guest communication.
• Build and maintain relationships with external service providers, hotels, transport operators and activity vendors.
• Provide real‑time assistance to guests during trips, handling queries and complaints.
• Collect and analyse traveller feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records across booking systems and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Stay updated on global travel trends, destination information and travel advisories.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in travel operations, reservations or a customer‑facing role (freshers with strong internships considered).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Required skills

• Experience with Zoho CRM or similar platforms.
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
