Non-Invasive Cardiac Technician

About the role

The Non-Invasive Cardiac Technician will work full‑time on‑site at our Patna cardiac centre, performing a range of non‑invasive cardiac diagnostic tests. The role involves preparing patients, operating specialised equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation while supporting cardiologists and the wider care team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ECGs, treadmill (TMT) stress tests, Holter monitoring and echocardiograms according to clinical protocols.
• Prepare and educate patients before each test, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate, calibrate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment, monitoring test quality.
• Record and enter test results into the EMR/PACS system, assisting cardiologists with report generation.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and administrative staff to streamline workflow in the cardiac unit.
• Adhere to infection‑control, safety standards and participate in continuous quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in Cardiac Technology, Non‑Invasive Cardiology or a related allied‑health discipline.
• Strong patient‑care orientation with clear communication and respectful approach.
• Attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and safety guidelines in a high‑volume setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, maintain professional ethics and engage in ongoing training.
