Network Security Engineer (Remote)

About the role

SAAS INFOSOLUTIONS is seeking a Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures for its clients and internal systems. This full‑time remote position focuses on protecting environments through robust firewall, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention configurations while monitoring traffic for threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures.
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
• Monitor network traffic and security alerts, responding to incidents promptly.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support incident investigation and remediation.
• Document configurations, procedures, and security policies.
• Optimize network performance and provide guidance on secure architecture and risk mitigation.

Required profile

• Strong background in network engineering and administration.
• Expertise in network security and cybersecurity principles.
• Solid foundation in information security policies and best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams.
