Network Engineer – Pune

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support our expanding network infrastructure in Pune. You will join a dedicated engineering team responsible for building scalable, highly available network solutions that meet business objectives and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, and QoS services.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, patches, and security configurations.
• Monitor performance, system availability, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
• Provide troubleshooting and support to resolve network issues.
• Follow configuration and change management policies for network changes.
• Select and implement security tools and policies in coordination with the security team.
• Liaise with vendors and internal IT teams for problem resolution.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on network engineering experience.
• Experience with Cisco ASA, Firepower, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco IOS/NXOS, Catalyst and Nexus switches, Juniper and Dell switches.
• Knowledge of Cisco Wi‑Fi and Mobility Express.
• CCNA or Network+ certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11 and QoS.
• Solid grasp of the OSI/TCP‑IP model.
• Experience with monitoring, diagnostic and analytics tools.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.
