Senior Network DevOps Engineer – Operations

Join Five9’s mission to deliver exceptional cloud contact‑center experiences. As a Senior Network DevOps Engineer you will design, automate and operate large‑scale software‑defined networks in a 24/7 SaaS environment, ensuring zero‑downtime deployments and high reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, digital‑twin dry‑runs and zero‑downtime network configuration deployments.
• Champion Network‑as‑Code by establishing GitOps workflows and using source control as the single source of truth for network state.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and playbooks to eliminate manual configuration toil at global scale.
• Engineer and optimise massive‑scale SDN and container networking interfaces (VXLAN, OVN, Calico) for multi‑region cloud and bare‑metal environments.
• Serve as the Tier‑4 SME for complex routing, overlay and security issues, providing rapid resolution across physical and virtual layers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, DevOps or SRE roles with a focus on large‑scale network design and automation.
• Deep expertise in software‑defined networking, overlay technologies and Kubernetes networking at enterprise scale.
• Proven technical leadership, mentoring abilities and experience driving cross‑functional engineering initiatives.
