Expert Network Engineer

About the role

Ensono is seeking an Expert Network Engineer to provide L3 operations support and design complex network solutions for its clients across hybrid environments. The role involves consulting, incident management, and driving network architecture improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support all client network environments and provide L3 troubleshooting for communications, backbone access, and performance issues.
• Design, engineer, and implement complex network solutions, including security, access control, and infrastructure components.
• Manage incident, request, change, event, and problem processes for client networks.
• Monitor network performance proactively and recommend improvements.
• Lead documentation, automation, and process‑enhancement initiatives.
• Research and develop innovative network solutions and create product roadmaps.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering with 12+ years overall IT experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to design and implement Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions.
• Excellent English speaking and writing proficiency.

Required skills

• LAN/WAN, firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), wireless, VOIP, QoS, encryption technologies.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, EIGRP, BGP, eBGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, MPLS.
• Extensive experience with Cisco routers, switches, ACS, ISE, and Cisco ACI.
• Design and implementation of AWS and Azure networking (VPC, VNet, NSG, Subnets, Route Tables, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute).
• Scripting/automation using Python, Ansible (preferred).
• Load balancing technologies such as F5, Netscaler, A10 (preferred).
