MST & Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance (Latur)

About the role

Sayaji Hotels Ltd is seeking a full‑time MST and Carpenter to join its Latur property. The role focuses on routine and preventive carpentry maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, and back‑of‑house spaces, ensuring the hotel’s high standards of safety, quality, and aesthetics are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders and basic technical drawings to carry out framing, door and window fitting, partition work, and finish carpentry.
• Repair, install, and maintain wooden fixtures, furniture, panels, trims, and decorative elements.
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, troubleshooting issues such as loose fittings or damaged woodwork.
• Coordinate with engineering and housekeeping teams to respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and work environment.

Required profile

• Strong carpentry background with experience in structural and non‑structural work.
• Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings, measurements, and work orders.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and comfort working on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Attention to detail, time‑management skills, and ability to minimise guest disruption.
• Diploma, ITI, or equivalent vocational training in Carpentry, Civil, or related trades is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, and planes.
• Experience using power tools including drills, sanders, and circular saws.
• Finish carpentry – fitting, polishing, and detailing furniture and decorative elements.
• Interpretation of technical drawings and work orders.
