Mobile App Developer (iOS & Android)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to design, build and maintain native iOS and Android applications for our client. The role is full‑time, based in Mumbai and will be on the payroll of Technoville Consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, test, and deploy iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Build responsive, user‑friendly, high‑performance mobile interfaces.
- Integrate APIs, backend systems, notifications, payment gateways, analytics, and third‑party services.
- Optimise application performance, memory usage, stability, and overall user experience.
- Identify technical issues, bottlenecks, and bugs, providing timely resolutions.
- Maintain code quality, modular architecture, testing standards, and documentation.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support application releases, version upgrades, and post‑deployment maintenance.
Required profile
- Minimum graduate degree (B.E./B.Tech preferred).
- At least 3 years of native mobile application development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Swift/Objective‑C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android.
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android frameworks and responsive UI design.
- Ability to work full‑time onsite in Mumbai.
Required skills
- Swift, Objective‑C, Kotlin, Java, Flutter (advantage).
- iOS frameworks: UIKit, Foundation, Core Data, Core Animation, MapKit, Cocoa Touch.
- Android components: Activity, Fragment, Intent, Service, BroadcastReceiver, ContentProvider, Jetpack libraries.
- UI design: Auto Layout, Size Classes, Material Design components (RecyclerView, ViewPager, CardView, Navigation Drawer, Bottom Navigation, Toolbar, Floating Action Button).
- RESTful API integration, JSON handling.
- Version control: Git, SVN, Mercurial.
- Build tools: Gradle, CI/CD pipelines.
- Android libraries: Retrofit, OkHttp, RxJava, RxAndroid, Dagger, Google Play Services, EventBus.
- Testing tools: Espresso, Mockito, Robolectric, iOS testing frameworks.
- Performance profiling: Instruments (iOS), Android debugging/performance tools.
