Microsoft Data Architect

About the role

You will partner with customers to define and implement reference architectures that unlock the value of their data. Working closely with business leaders and information management teams, you will guide the design of data platforms on‑premises or in Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current data landscapes, identify gaps, and design roadmaps for data management, BI, and analytics solutions.
• Define and propose data models, workflows, and user interfaces that meet business needs.
• Lead the creation of end‑to‑end data platforms using Microsoft Azure and SQL Server technologies.
• Present architectural designs and recommendations to senior stakeholders and upper management.
• Coach project members, train new data analysts and engineers, and promote best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data intelligence, analytics, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business audiences.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to see how individual components fit into the larger architecture.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Dutch or French.
