Microsoft 365 Developer – SharePoint Online Migration Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft 365 Developer who will lead SharePoint Online migration projects for Bosch’s global software division. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, architects and technical teams to ensure smooth migration of legacy content while maintaining data integrity, security and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan and execute migrations from on‑premises SharePoint, file shares and other collaboration platforms to SharePoint Online.
• Perform content discovery, assessment, analysis and migration readiness activities.
• Use Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) and ShareGate for large‑scale migration runs.
• Develop and customise SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, Power Platform and other Microsoft 365 services.
• Create migration strategies, run pilot migrations and execute production migrations.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimise performance.
• Implement governance, security, permissions and compliance settings within Microsoft 365.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare technical documentation, migration runbooks and knowledge‑transfer materials.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint technologies.
• Proven hands‑on experience delivering SharePoint Online migration projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Quest On Demand Migration (ODM) and ShareGate.
• SharePoint Online administration, site collections, permissions and content management.
• SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, React, REST APIs.
• Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Teams integration.
• Microsoft 365 security, governance and compliance.
• Azure AD / Entra ID and Microsoft Graph API.
