Senior Full‑Stack Software Engineer – Angular & Node.js

About the role

Senior engineering where the requirements are unforgiving and the scale is real. PrismHR provides a nationwide HR, payroll and benefits platform backed by Vensure Employer Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end features across the stack, including Angular/TypeScript front‑end, Node.js/Express services and the underlying data layer.
• Provide design input, implement code, ensure test coverage and take production accountability.
• Lead code reviews and maintain a high quality bar for the team.
• Mentor mid‑level and junior engineers.
• Partner with product management on requirements and with QA on test strategy.
• Write technical documentation that endures beyond your tenure.
• Work on the integration between the modern stack and the mature payroll core, handling complex data migrations without missed pay runs.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise with substantial single‑page application work in Angular.
• Solid Node.js and Express experience designing REST APIs or micro‑services.
• Proven testing discipline across unit, integration and functional levels.
• Strong SQL and data‑modeling abilities.
• Demonstrated code‑review leadership and mentoring capability.
• Ability to debug across tiers and reason from symptom to root cause under pressure.
