Medical Subject Matter Expert (AI Training & Documentation)

About the role

We are looking for experienced medical professionals to help shape next‑generation AI systems. As a Medical Subject Matter Expert, you will create original, high‑quality medical documentation that will be used to train and improve AI models. No prior AI experience is required; your clinical expertise is the core qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Produce self‑authored medical documents (PDF or Word) such as clinical reports, case studies, research manuscripts, technical documentation, and educational materials.
• Include multimodal content—tables, charts, diagrams, and other visual elements—where relevant.
• De‑identify all patient‑specific information while preserving educational value.
• Curate a diverse collection of documents ranging from 10 to 100 pages to support various AI training scenarios.
• Provide context or clarifications for submitted materials when requested.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to continuously improve AI system performance.

Required profile

• Advanced degree or professional qualification in Medicine, Healthcare, Clinical Research, or a related field (MD, DO, PhD, MBBS, RN, or equivalent).
• Extensive experience authoring clinical documentation, research papers, medical reports, case studies, or technical healthcare content.
• Strong understanding of medical documentation standards, patient confidentiality, and data de‑identification practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex medical concepts clearly.
