Medical Doctor – Primary Care (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

Asvins Care Health Care Center, a primary‑care clinic in Whitefield, Bengaluru, is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join its on‑site team. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and focuses on delivering comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, physical examinations, and accurate diagnosis.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order/interpret investigations.
• Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records for every encounter, ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate follow‑up care and collaborate with nurses, allied health professionals, and specialists.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, preventive measures, and self‑care.
• Participate in case discussions, quality‑improvement initiatives, and continuous learning activities.

Required profile

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or MBBS with postgraduate family medicine qualification) and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Completed internship; clinical experience in primary care or internal medicine preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, decision‑making, and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records and basic digital health tools.
