Mechanical Maintenance – Level II

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance – Level II role is responsible for keeping production equipment operational through routine and corrective maintenance. The incumbent works with limited supervision, applying technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using diagrams, manuals, and testing instruments.
• Document maintenance activities and feed information into the preventive maintenance system.
• Identify and address safety hazards, report incidents, and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Support equipment uptime by analyzing downtime failures and suggesting improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and perform routine housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to drive continuous improvement.
