Executive - Production

About the role

The Production Officer manages a designated team, plant and material resources to ensure performance monitoring, compliance with Nestlé standards and efficient, sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue production instructions, allocate resources and adjust plans for optimum performance.
• Plan, coordinate and follow‑up routine, periodic and CIP/shutdown maintenance activities.
• Control production costs while safeguarding product quality and safety.
• Ensure regulatory and process compliance, monitor KPIs and promote workplace safety.
• Measure, analyze and control line performance, labour and material usage variances using available systems.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives, coordinate trials, new product development and technical projects.
• Prepare information for standard audits (HACCP, ISO, GMP) and support knowledge‑management activities.

Required profile

• BTech in Food Technology, Dairy, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Production.
• 2–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
• Strong communication skills to convey information between management and shop floor.

Required skills

• Understanding of manufacturing and filling‑packing operations and best practices.
• Knowledge of total cost of production components and influencing factors.
• Familiarity with manufacturing, maintenance and quality systems.
• Awareness of statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental principles.
• Computer knowledge.
