Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of all mechanical equipment within our production environment. You will work closely with engineering teams to plan, execute, and document maintenance activities while adhering to safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fabrication and machine‑shop equipment such as VMC, HBM, shot‑blasting units, furnaces, rolling machines, CNC gas cutters, and welding machines (TIG & MIG).
• Inspect machinery and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions and recommend modifications to improve performance.
• Oversee the maintenance of EOT cranes and other material‑handling equipment.
• Document all maintenance and repair work for future reference.
• Order replacement parts and necessary tools to support maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other engineering professionals on complex maintenance projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in a fabrication or machine‑shop setting.
• Strong knowledge of VMC, HBM, shot‑blasting, furnace operation, rolling machines, CNC gas cutting, and TIG/MIG welding.
• Familiarity with EOT crane and material‑handling equipment maintenance.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
