Mechanical Designer - SolidWorks Automation

About the role

Hi-Tech Digital Solutions LLP, an ISO-certified company offering BIM, engineering, business process management and aero-navigation engineering solutions, is looking for a Mechanical Designer with 1-3 years of experience in SolidWorks. The role covers 3D modelling and drafting, with a focus on automation and customization of design tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for existing projects.
• Work with drawing templates, custom properties and design standards to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Use programming knowledge to automate and customize design tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with company standards.
• Optimize designs and workflows using logical problem-solving.
• Support database-related tasks; SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders across multicultural environments.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks (modelling and drafting).
• Exposure to SQL and logical problem-solving skills are an added advantage.

Required skills

• SolidWorks: modelling, drafting, templates and custom properties.
• Programming knowledge (C, C++, Visual Basic, C# or equivalent).
• SQL experience preferred.
