Mechanical Design Engineer – Servo Motor Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with specialist expertise in servo motor design to join our industrial automation team. You will work on the development of high‑performance servo motors for a range of industrial applications, collaborating with cross‑functional engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

• Design rotor‑stator, shafts, bearings, and housing for industrial servo motors.
• Develop and modify components and sub‑assemblies for servo motor systems.
• Interpret system requirements, create concepts, and produce detailed designs that meet project specifications.
• Select standard mechanical elements and ensure proper interfacing with electronics and software.
• Create manufacturing and assembly drawings in accordance with design standards.
• Manage component databases and generate Bills of Materials using SAP.
• Perform engineering calculations and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8–14 years of relevant mechanical design experience, preferably in motor or automation projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo and Autodesk Inventor.
• Experience using Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
• Knowledge of SAP for BOM creation and database management.
