Manager, Record to Report (RTR) – Hyderabad

About the role

The Manager, Record to Report (RTR) will lead Invesco’s Hyderabad Shared Service Center, ensuring compliance with the firm’s revenue accounting standards and US GAAP. This role supports revenue accounting and reporting for North America, Canada, and APAC, providing critical oversight of financial close processes and SEC filings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10‑Q/K and manage internal and external reviews.
• Maintain the SEC calendar and ensure adherence to deadlines for financial close, board packages, press releases, and filings.
• Interpret evolving accounting guidance, produce technical memoranda, and communicate issues to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors on financial statements and accounting disclosures.
• Oversee General Ledger services, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, SOX compliance, and ad‑hoc reporting.
• Lead the GL team to meet Service Level Agreements and support corporate audit requirements.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and collaborate with the R2R Senior Manager.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience managing a finance or accounting team in a shared services environment.
• Proven ability to handle complex financial reporting across multiple regions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with auditors, regulators, and senior management.
