Manager – R&D, Mobile Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an experienced R&D Manager to lead our Mobile Solutions engineering team. You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and ensure high‑quality, customer‑focused mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing mobile engineering team.
• Manage customer escalations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution.
• Establish engineering standards, development processes, and technical roadmaps.
• Monitor and improve metrics related to product quality, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and team performance.
• Provide technical leadership for iOS, Android, and cross‑platform applications, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Partner with Product, Quality, Support, and R&D teams to deliver reliable customer‑facing solutions.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps best practices.
• Champion AI‑assisted software development and promote responsible AI governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 14+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Proven experience leading mobile development teams through the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android development, architecture, and deployment practices.
• Experience with cloud‑connected applications, APIs, and modern software architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, and quality engineering.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
