Lotus Notes / HCL Domino Application Developer – Database Support

About the role

Atlas is seeking an experienced Lotus Notes / HCL Domino Application Developer to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and controlled enhancements for a US‑based manufacturing client’s legacy Domino estate. The role focuses on stabilising existing applications, handling upgrades, and ensuring smooth production support.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end change requests: clarify requirements, develop, test, document and close tickets.
• Maintain and modify existing Domino applications using Domino Designer (forms, views, shared elements, workflows, ACLs).
• Support the Domino 9 to Domino 14 upgrade, remediate post‑upgrade issues and validate functionality.
• Manage workflow and approval processes, update routing, and troubleshoot related problems.
• Administer application security, ACLs, and transition access to Domino Directory groups.
• Document legacy applications, build a knowledge base, and retire obsolete databases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on Lotus Notes / HCL Domino development in production environments.
• Strong ability to understand undocumented legacy applications and implement safe changes.
• Experience with structured ticketing (ServiceNow preferred) and production change management.
• Effective communication with non‑technical business users.
